I don’t do Turo but as someone who’s been thru the ringer with vehicles & risen from the ashes I can give a few pieces of solid advice. 1) Never buy from a dealer 2) Don’t buy new 3) If it’s not a Honda or Toyota don’t even consider it. 4) Learn how to do maintenance & repairs on your own vehicles.

So basically the people selling us the cars, are broke and just trying to sucker you into buying a car at marked up rates ao they can pay their ridiculous car payment.

I paid $15k 4 years ago for my black 2004 Mercedes Benz 500SL hardtop convertible with only 65,000 original one owner miles so no car payment. I also own a 2006 Ford F150 4X4 in excellent condition with 134,000 miles and just purchased a red 2003 BMW K1200 GT motorcycle with 17,000 original miles for $2500 and NO PAYMENTS! My Benz gets compliments all the time and same for the bike. @&%*! the payments.

Live within your beans, they are just renting the car. I guess I don’t know US car finance but in the UK it’s the biggest rip-off ever especially when you can get a cheaper rate loan and actually own the car. Should anything bad happen? You don’t lose all the money invested.

All of these broke people with payments. Take a peak at the cash flow quadrant and you’ll understand that using your assets to pay for your liabilities is the real way to go.
